Traveling Orthodontic Dental Assistant Needed!

We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Traveling Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our expanding dental team. The role involves assisting the orthodontist in various clinical procedures, delivering exceptional patient care, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the orthodontic department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and maintenance of treatment rooms
• Assistance during patient exams and treatments
• Handling digital X-rays, photos, and impressions
• Education of patients on oral hygiene
• Instrument sterilization and maintaining cleanliness
• Accurate charting and record updates
• Support for front office tasks when needed
• Managing orthodontic supplies inventory
• Providing comfort to patients, especially younger ones

Qualifications:

• Dental Assistant certification
• OA CERTIFICATE
• Orthodontic assisting experience
• X-ray certification
• CPR certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Capability to multitask in a dynamic environment

Working Conditions:

• Fast-paced clinical environment
• Prolonged periods of standing required
• Occasional evening or weekend shifts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
