School Bus Supervisor

Job Description

IQ Nursery is looking for a Bus Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of children during daily transportation to and from the nursery, while following all safety procedures and the nursery's transportation policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Accompany children during daily bus trips to and from the nursery.
• Assist children in safely boarding and exiting the bus.
• Ensure all children are seated properly and follow bus safety procedures.
• Supervise children throughout the journey to ensure their safety and comfort.
• Check the bus after every trip to ensure no child is left behind.
• Work closely with the bus driver and nursery management to ensure smooth transportation operations.
• Report any emergencies or safety concerns immediately.
• Comply with all nursery transportation and safety policies and procedures.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the management.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children or in a similar role.
• Fluency in the Tagalog language (spoken) is mandatory.
• Valid ITC Bus Permit.
• EDC Certificate.
• Certificate of Conformity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Responsible, reliable, and able to remain calm in emergency situations.
