Sales Executive – Chemical Raw Materials (Paint & Coatings Industry)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities within the UAE paint and coatings industry.
• Promote and sell chemical raw materials to paint manufacturers, coating companies, construction chemical manufacturers and industrial customers.
• Identify new customers and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Arrange customer visits, product presentations and technical discussions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate prices and close sales.
• Coordinate product sampling and customer trials with the technical team.
• Follow up on enquiries, quotations, orders and payments.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and pricing.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Prepare weekly sales reports and maintain an active sales pipeline.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of sales experience in chemical raw materials, preferably in the paint and coatings industry within the UAE.
• Good knowledge of paint raw materials and their applications.
• Existing network of customers in the UAE paint, coatings or construction chemical market is preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).
• Fluent in English. Arabic, Hindi or Urdu is an advantage.
• Valid UAE driving licence is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience working with chemical distributors or manufacturers.
• Knowledge of UAE trading practices and customer requirements.
