Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide expert recommendations to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring all special requests are noted
• Serve food, beverages, and cocktails efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, and specialty cocktails to increase sales and guest satisfaction
• Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems, process sales transactions, and manage cash handling responsibilities
• Maintain knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas quickly during busy periods, and supporting host/hostess duties as needed
• Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring a welcoming environment

Experience

• Previous restaurant experience in food service or hospitality roles preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
• Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, cocktail preparation, and food industry standards enhances your ability to upsell effectively
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that creates lasting guest impressions
• Experience with food safety regulations and sanitation practices in a restaurant setting
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $8.00 - $9.00 per hour
