Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled DHA-licensed Respiratory Therapist to join our homecare team. You will deliver specialized respiratory care to patients with chronic and acute conditions in their homes, ensuring clinical excellence, patient safety, and compliance with DHA/MOH guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care: Assess, plan, and implement respiratory therapy treatments for homecare patients including COPD, asthma, post-COVID, tracheostomy, and ventilator-dependent cases

Equipment Management: Set up, operate, and monitor respiratory equipment including ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, oxygen concentrators, nebulizers, and suction machines. Train patients and caregivers on safe usage

Clinical Monitoring: Conduct regular home visits to evaluate lung function, SpO2 levels, ABG analysis as needed, and adjust treatment plans in coordination with physicians

Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely clinical records, progress notes, and care plans in line with DHA audit requirements

Compliance & Safety: Adhere to infection control protocols, DHA standards, and homecare policies. Ensure proper equipment sterilization and maintenance

Caregiver Training: Educate families and caregivers on airway management, chest physiotherapy, tracheostomy care, and emergency procedures

Multidisciplinary Coordination: Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and case managers to ensure holistic patient care

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited institution

License: Valid DHA License/Eligibility Letter as Respiratory Therapist will be a plus point

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience

Skills: Proficient in ventilator management, tracheostomy care, strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Language: Fluent in English. Arabic is an advantage
