Job Summary:

Your core duty is to supervise and lead the printing department, ensuring top-notch quality of all paper packaging materials while adhering to demanding production timelines. You will significantly contribute to waste reduction, equipment upkeep, and offering hands-on guidance to a team of press operators and assistants.

Key Responsibilities:

Printing Operations & Quality Control:

• Supervise the setup, operation, and precise calibration of printing presses for diverse paper and packaging projects.
• Continuously monitor production processes to uphold precise color matching, registration, and overall print quality uniformity.
• Coordinate daily job orders and collaborate seamlessly with production and sales teams to meet all client requirements and deadlines.
• Enforce rigorous quality control protocols to minimize errors and decrease ink and paper wastage.

Team Leadership & Equipment Maintenance:

• Guide, train, and oversee press operators and floor staff, nurturing a safe, systematic, and highly productive work atmosphere.
• Create daily shift schedules and assign machine duties to optimize equipment uptime and overall operational efficiency.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on printing machinery, troubleshoot minor mechanical issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate daily production records, machine maintenance logs, and end-of-shift reports.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Printing Press Supervisor, Lead Press Operator, or similar leadership role in the packaging or print sector.
• Male candidates will be given preference for this role.
• Comprehensive technical expertise in offset printing presses, color management, and various paper substrates utilized in carton production.
• Robust leadership and problem-solving capabilities to effectively manage a dynamic production environment.
• Aptitude for handling physically demanding tasks and overseeing heavy industrial machinery operations safely.
• Outstanding communication skills to coordinate efficiently with other internal departments like the warehouse and administration.
• Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on print quality and workplace safety.

Pay: From AED1,800.00 per month
