Foreman Cum Carpenter – Furniture Workshop

Location: Sanaya (Industrial Area), Doha, Qatar

About the Position

Silver Coast Engineering is seeking an experienced Foreman Cum Carpenter to lead our furniture workshop. The ideal candidate must have excellent knowledge of custom furniture manufacturing, finishing carpentry, and workshop management.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all carpenters and workshop staff.
• Manufacture and oversee the production of custom furniture, wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, TV units, wall panels, decorative items, and other joinery works.
• Read and interpret detailed shop drawings and production drawings accurately.
• Plan and assign daily tasks to the workshop team.
• Ensure all furniture is produced to the highest quality standards.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure projects are completed on time without delays.
• Coordinate with engineers and project managers regarding production requirements.
• Maintain workshop discipline, cleanliness, and safety.
• Ensure efficient use of materials, machinery, and manpower.

Requirements

• Must have good experience in a furniture manufacturing workshop.
• Strong hands-on experience in finishing carpentry and custom furniture production.
• Ability to read and understand detailed shop drawings.
• Experience supervising and managing a carpentry workshop team.
• Fluent in English and Hindi (both mandatory).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be organised, responsible, punctual, and able to meet deadlines.
• Professional attitude with good character and team management skills.
