About the Role:
As a Clinical Center Associate, you will play an important role in helping patients, families, and care teams navigate each day with confidence and compassion. Often serving as one of the first points of contact in our clinical areas, you will help create a welcoming experience while ensuring the administrative processes that support patient care run smoothly.

The starting annual salary for this position is $47,695 and this can include a full comprehensive benefits package.

What You'll Do:
In this role, you will:
Welcome and assist patients, families, and visitors with professionalism and empathy
Answer phone calls and respond to routine questions or direct inquiries to the appropriate team members
Coordinate and maintain clinic schedules to support efficient patient care
Record and transcribe physician orders accurately and timely
Support patient registration and appointment-related activities
Manage the patient co-pay collection process
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to ensure a positive patient experience
Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience

1. Medical Office Assistant Associate’s degree and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or
2. Associate’s degree and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or
3. High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma, completion of an Roswell Park-approved Medical Assistant certificate program and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or
4. High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or
5. High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in customer service and successful completion of a Clinical Center Associate traineeship at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (Roswell Park).

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
