Core Responsibilities

Operations & Workflow Management: Oversee the daily operations of the paint shop, prioritize workload, assign tasks to painters/preppers, and monitor job progress to meet delivery deadlines.
Quality Control: Enforce strict quality assurance to ensure all vehicles meet factory standards in e-coat, primer, basecoat, and clearcoat layers. Conduct final inspections for flawless finishes.
Parts & Inventory Management: Supervise procurement, tracking, and organization of paint supplies, abrasives, and auto body parts. Optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
Customer Relations & Estimating: Review repair estimates, liaise with insurance adjusters, and manage customer expectations on repair costs and turnaround times.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and oversee paint technicians and apprentices. Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and prioritize safety.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to EPA and OSHA regulations on hazardous chemical handling, spray booth ventilation, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Key Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise: Profound knowledge of automotive painting, color matching, blending, and surface preparation.
Equipment Knowledge: Proficiency in operating and maintaining paint spray booths, mixing systems, curing ovens, and automated spray equipment.
Computer Literacy: Familiarity with auto repair estimating software and inventory management systems.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client, staff, and management interaction.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or relevant field preferred. 3–5 years of automotive refinishing experience, including 2 years in management.
Relevant certifications such as I-CAR, ASE Master Painter are advantageous.

Salary: Rs50,000.00 - Rs75,000.00 per month
