About the Role

Mandeep Furniture is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman to join our growing team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate should have experience in furniture manufacturing, custom joinery, and interior fit-out projects. The candidate will prepare detailed production drawings, shop drawings, and coordination drawings while working closely with designers, project managers, and the production team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed AutoCAD shop drawings for furniture, joinery, and interior fit-out works.
• Develop production drawings with dimensions, sections, elevations, and material specifications.
• Prepare cutting lists and manufacturing drawings for factory production.
• Coordinate drawings with project managers, site engineers, and production staff.
• Revise drawings based on client comments and site conditions.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and industry standards.
• Prepare as-built drawings after project completion.
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing revisions.
• Coordinate with procurement for material specifications when required.
• Support estimation and production teams with technical drawings.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Drafting, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of UAE experience in furniture, joinery, or interior fit-out.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D).
• Good understanding of furniture manufacturing processes and joinery details.
• Ability to prepare production-ready shop drawings.
• Knowledge of materials such as MDF, plywood, veneer, laminates, solid wood, acrylic, glass, and hardware.
• Ability to read architectural and interior design drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Good communication skills in English. Hindi or Urdu is an advantage.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of 3D software such as SketchUp or SolidWorks is an advantage.
• Familiarity with CNC production drawings.
• Experience with quantity take-offs and material optimization.
• Understanding of UAE joinery and fit-out standards.
