Unqualified Teaching Assistant (SEN)

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and caring individuals to join AK Teaching as Supply Teaching Assistants at a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. This rewarding opportunity involves working with children and young adults aged 2-19 who have Autism, ADHD, and other additional needs. Formal qualifications are not mandatory; we welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, including those with experience in health and social care, sports coaching, or military service.

Responsibilities:

• Support students' learning and development in collaboration with the class teacher and fellow Teaching Assistants.
• Encourage positive behavior and engagement in classroom activities.
• Assist with personal care when necessary.
• Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Requirements:
