Private Chemistry Tutor Needed for Year 12 A-Level Student

Do you have a passion for teaching and helping students succeed? Tutor Doctor is seeking a dedicated A-Level Chemistry tutor to work one-on-one with a motivated Year 12 student in OX2. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in preparing the student for academic excellence.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced A-Level Chemistry educator familiar with the Year 12 curriculum. Your responsibilities will include personalized tutoring sessions, exam preparation, progress tracking, and creating tailored study plans to enhance the student's understanding of key concepts.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting A-Level Chemistry lessons
• Assisting with exam techniques and preparations
• Monitoring progress and reviewing assignments
• Addressing challenging topics and practicing key concepts
• Developing a customized action plan to meet academic goals
• Supporting the student in revision and exam readiness

Qualifications

• Undergraduate Degree
• Teaching Certification (PGCE/QTS)
• Proficient in spoken and written English
• Minimum of 2 years teaching/tutoring A-Level Chemistry
• 2 references from educational institutions or families
• Current Enhanced DBS check

Experience Requirements

The ideal candidate should have at least two years of experience teaching or tutoring A-Level Chemistry.

Your Role

• Provide in-home tutoring for a Year-12 student
• Collaborate with Tutor Doctor's local management team to meet student's needs
• Prepare session materials and homework assignments
• Submit session reports promptly through Tutor Doctor's online platform
• Maintain professionalism, clear communication, and reliability with clients and the management team

Job Details

• Job Types: Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Freelance
• Contract length: 1 month
• Pay Range: £22.50-£25.00 per hour
• Weekly Hours: 10

Work Environment

• Casual dress code

Schedule

• Day shifts, Monday to Friday
