Test Environment Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Environmental Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence to environmental regulations and promoting sustainable practices within our organization.

We require expertise in:

• Wide Platform and large test environment management and planning
• Comprehensive testing experience
• Release and Defect Management
• Enforcement of standards and SLAs

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing operational Epics in environment projects
• Developing operational standards and procedures
• Designing environment booking systems and tools
• Creating environment dashboards
• Establishing support models and organizational structures
• Providing support, training, and knowledge transfer to permanent staff

By the end of the tenure, the successful candidate will have:

• Set up a team and necessary tools for daily PLE management
• Developed daily operational runbooks and recovery mechanisms
• Implemented a booking system for multiple PLEs and shared environments
• Established MI dashboards for operational insights
• Created runbooks for building and refreshing environments efficiently
• Identified resolver groups and provided necessary training materials

This is a temporary contract, with a duration of 6 months, offering a competitive daily rate of £450.00-£455.00. The position comes with benefits including a company pension, private medical insurance, and work-from-home flexibility. The role involves a hybrid remote work setup in London.
