We are thrilled to present an exceptional opportunity for a Support Worker to join our remarkable Residential Service in Leicester, LE4.

  • Role: Support Worker
  • Pay Rate: £12.00 Per Hour
  • Shifts: 36 hours per week (Days)

Responsibilities

  • Offering support to individuals with disabilities, focusing on those with profound and complex needs using person-centred approaches to facilitate positive outcomes as outlined in their support plan.
  • Performing essential daily tasks such as medication administration, meal preparation, cleaning, and documentation.
  • Providing emotional and practical assistance.
  • Facilitating access to community facilities and participation in community groups for those under our care.
  • Establishing strong relationships with individuals in our care to enhance independence and enhance their quality of life.
  • Empowering individuals to acquire new skills or pursue interests and hobbies.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in the care sector, ICSs or equivalent (preferred, not mandatory).
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong skills in time management, organization, attention to detail, and flexibility.
  • Proficient in IT.
  • A positive and proactive attitude.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Compassionate, caring, and positive demeanor.
  • Passionate about making a tangible and positive impact on individuals' lives.
  • Valid UK Driving License - Preferred.
  • Adept at managing challenging behavior and conflicts.
  • Works effectively as part of a team and independently.
