Position Overview:

Join our Stores Team to provide crucial support to operational Work Teams in a bustling yard environment. Ideal candidates should exhibit a strong work ethic, problem-solving abilities, and the flexibility to work both independently and collaboratively to meet daily targets. This role may involve working outdoors in the yard and indoors in the warehouse, as well as traveling to different sites, hence a valid driving license is a prerequisite. For the right candidate, opportunities exist to acquire licenses for forklift and telehandler operations.

Location: Bamber Bridge, Preston

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm with a 30-minute break.

Salary: £28,256 per annum

Key Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

Proficiency in using handheld devices for job pack preparation and task allocation to Teams.
Receiving deliveries and promptly highlighting any supplier discrepancies.
Physically handling materials and ensuring proper storage.
Regular stock checks and initiating stock replenishment requests.
Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards while adhering to health and safety protocols.
Reporting safety concerns following Company guidelines

Experience and Qualifications:

Full UK driving license
Strong communication skills and IT proficiency with accurate data entry
Team player with a positive attitude
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
