We are excited to announce an outstanding opportunity for a Specification Technologist at our Head Office in Leeds to support our specifications team. This role offers flexible and hybrid working arrangements.

We are seeking a specifications technologist or an individual with technical administration experience to join our evolving specifications team. Your main responsibility will be to manage our food-related web-based specifications, ensuring accurate completion at the highest standard and within specified timelines of the critical path.

Reporting to the Launch Manager, your primary duties will include:

• Ensuring customer specifications are completed accurately and in accordance with critical path or customer requirements using platforms such as HIVE, TQC, EVOLVE, MCREATE, MYCORE, AND BRAKES ASSURE
• Completion of customer submission forms for New Product Development
• Reviewing and approving artwork using retailer artwork systems
• Providing professional and efficient support for specific specification and artwork customer inquiries
• Maintaining internal trackers for specification and product launches
• Assisting technical teams during audits with any specification requirements

What qualities are we seeking?

Preferred candidates will have prior experience in the Food or FMCG sectors, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and keen attention to detail.

Strong IT skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and effective time management are essential, along with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

While prior experience as a specifications technologist in the food industry is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Knowledge of web-based retailer systems and labeling requirements is a plus.
