We rely on our Teammates to:

• Provide exceptional customer service, from a warm greeting to a speedy checkout process
• Recommend the best footwear and apparel to enhance each customer's experience
• Share in-depth product knowledge and enthusiasm about our offerings
• Organize, arrange, and tidy up the store layout
• Assist in both front-end and back-end store tasks as necessary

To qualify for this role, you need to meet these basic requirements:

• Must be at least 16 years old (or 18 years old in CA)
• Available to work flexible shifts
• Comfortable with technology or willing to learn (computers, handheld devices, etc.)
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to carry out essential job functions effectively

You would stand out as a strong candidate if you also have:

• Previous work experience (desirable but not required), especially in customer-facing roles

Role Objective

The Sales Associate contributes to store revenue and performance targets by exemplifying brand values and delivering a unique shopping experience to Under Armour customers. Reporting to the Store Manager, this position involves fulfilling regular tasks to maintain store operations. In the absence of a Stock Specialist, the Sales Associate assumes their responsibilities.

Your Influence

Sales & Omni

• Assist customers directly to achieve sales targets established by the Retail Store Manager
• Fulfill omni-channel requests in accordance with UA processes and policies through digital platforms

Brand Identity & Customer Engagement

• Exemplify the UA service culture and customer service expectations
• When aiding customers, communicate brand messages consistent with UA Service Model
• Apply product knowledge during sales interactions by engaging in training programs

Retail Operations

• Maintain store standards related to merchandise display and layout
• Adhere to UA policies and procedures
• Execute operational and cash-handling processes (manual or digital) as per training
• Adhere to Under Armour's dress code and attendance guidelines
• Meet scheduled working hours in compliance with Under Armour's attendance policy

Teamwork/Self Development

• Collaborate with colleagues to accomplish store objectives
• Take responsibility for self-improvement by seizing growth opportunities for enhanced performance

Desired Qualifications

• Proficiency in basic numeracy, literacy, listening, and communication skills
• Fluent in the local language
• Adept in computer and technology usage
• Demonstrated teamwork abilities and capability to work effectively within a team
• Proven capability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Criteria

• 0-3 months of experience in a sports/apparel & footwear retail setting
• Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays, evenings, and weekends, as needed

Physical Demands

• Capability to lift or move products up to 25 lbs/12 kgs
• Agility to remain active for extended periods with brief intervals for product handling
• Accessibility to all store sections, including the sales floor, stock area, and registers
