Position: Playground and Gymnasium Safety Compliance Officer

Overview:
Our team is currently in search of a meticulous Compliance Officer to join us. Your primary task will involve ensuring that all playground equipment meets CSA standard Z614 regulations while also conducting thorough inspections of gymnasiums, with a specific focus on the security of basketball nets. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to work autonomously.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed inspections of playgrounds and gym facilities to confirm adherence to safety standards and regulations
- Identify and report any non-compliance issues
- Maintain accurate records of inspection outcomes
- Keep abreast of industry guidelines and statutory obligations

Requirements:
- Prior experience in a safety compliance role is essential
- Possession of an up-to-date CPSI Canadian Playground Inspection Certificate

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

- Proficient in using mobile devices (provided) for recording inspection data

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

- Precision in reporting and documentation

- Valid driver's license

- Comfortable with ladder use up to 8 feet

- Willingness to travel within Ontario and work overnight shifts

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: $35.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected Weekly Hours: 30-45
