Retail and Attractions Assistant (19 hours , 3 days per week Sunday, Monday and Tuesday)

We are looking for dedicated individuals to provide exceptional service to our visitors in a welcoming and warm environment. As a team member, you will play a crucial role in maximising sales opportunities and ensuring a pleasant experience for everyone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent the Cathedral with professionalism and be a welcoming ambassador
• Display a positive attitude and seek ways to enhance efficiency
• Deliver high-quality customer service consistently
• Work collaboratively with team members and maintain a tidy environment
• Adhere to health and safety policies
• Maximise sales and handle transactions accurately
• Keep selling areas stocked and well-presented
• Understand merchandise and pricing
• Provide cover for Attractions when needed
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned

Experience Required:

Essential:

• Neat appearance and positive demeanor
• Proven customer service skills in a retail setting
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Strong planning and organising skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends

Desirable:

• Prior Sales Experience
• Cash handling experience
