Job Description

Residential and Valuation Surveyor

We are currently seeking a talented Residential and Valuation Surveyor to join our team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be based in the South Coast region, specifically in Portsmouth, Bournemouth or Southampton, and will be offered a competitive salary ranging from £55,000 to £65,000 per year. The working hours for this role are from 09:00 to 17:00 with flexibility as needed.

Our company, in collaboration with an established surveying solutions business with a wide client base across the UK, is going through a phase of expansion. As a result, we are looking to grow our Surveying team in three different Areas.

Main Responsibilities of the Residential and Valuation Surveyor

  • Conducting Level 2 and Level 3 surveys for residential properties.
  • Producing comprehensive, precise, and clear reports for clients.
  • Identifying property defects and offering expert recommendations.
  • Managing client relationships and providing high-quality advice.
  • Ensuring all surveying work meets industry standards and regulations.

Experience and Skills required

  • RICS Qualified: Assoc/MRICS/FRICS, also a member of RICS VRS (Valuers Registration Scheme) or eligibility to join.
  • Experience in conducting Level 2 surveys, Level 2 Survey and valuations, Help to Buy Valuations, Level 3 surveys (or a willingness to progress to Level 3’s if not already doing).
  • Preferably 2+ years of Post Qualification Experience (not mandatory).
  • Hold a Full Clean Driving License.
  • Have access to your own Vehicle.
