Job Description


We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Recycling Yard Operative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and punctuality. There is potential for progression to Yard Manager for the right individual with the right attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Load HGV vehicles using machinery such as Doosan loading shovel and 360 tracked excavator.
  • Operate onsite screener and crusher for material processing.
  • Utilize other plant equipment on-site as required, such as dumpers, rollers, and forklifts.
  • Manage stock of products in the yard.
  • Conduct general site maintenance and ensure cleanliness.
  • Perform daily checks on all plant equipment to minimize defects and downtime.
  • Complete customer collection yard tickets and input information into our systems.

We welcome candidates with prior experience in a similar role, although full training will be provided for individuals with the right attitude.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £10.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected Hours: Minimum of 50 hours per week

Schedule:
10-hour shift

Location: In person - Chesterfield, S43 4UZ
Commuting/Relocation: Candidates must be able to reliably commute to or plan to relocate to the specified location before starting work.
