ABOUT THE TEAM

We hold hundreds of live auctions each year across the globe. It requires a dedicated and dynamic team in a range of full-time and part-time roles to successfully conduct multi-million dollar auctions – from equipment inspectors, yard managers, and operators to administrative personnel and customer service representatives.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a receptionist at our Mont Saint-Hilaire site in Quebec, Canada, to be part of the excitement of our auction business. This part-time position involves organizing six scheduled auctions per calendar year at our Mont Saint-Hilaire site in Quebec.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of this role, you will:
  • Manage a high-volume phone system handling customer inquiries and assisting customers in utilizing all of Ritchie Bros.' services
  • Ability to explain auction processes and non-reserve auctions
  • Guide customers through the auction registration process for online auctions
  • Resolve issues and follow up on customer account interactions
  • Provide information regarding past and upcoming auctions and equipment
  • Assist with post-sale customer account phone calls and payment processing
  • Ensure superior quality customer service is provided at all times to all customers
  • Provide additional administrative support as needed
