Opportunity

Kirkby Tyres, a leading distributor of tyres and wheels in the UK and Ireland, is seeking a detail-oriented individual with a passion for data to join their team as a Purchasing And Stock Data Administrator. This crucial role will support the Purchasing Department and provide valuable contributions to the organization.

Roles & responsibilities:

· Managing data entry tasks, including price comparisons.

· Ensuring timely input of supplier data from source documents.

· Assisting in purchasing activities.

· Supporting other departments with stock requests as needed.

· Regular communication with suppliers.

· Resolving any inquiries related to supplier invoices.

· Updating internal systems with order and shipment details.

· Performing general office and administrative duties.

· Coordinating with different departments.

· Creating manifests and maintaining the manifest log.

· Compiling supplier information and updating the CAM System.

· Providing assistance with stock control.

· Generating and analyzing weekly reports.

· Collaborating effectively within a team.

· Handling ad hoc duties as required.

· Proficiency in Excel is a must.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

· Effective communication abilities.

· Team player mindset.

· Preferred experience or eagerness to work in a fast-paced business environment.

· Proficiency in MS Office suite.

· Enthusiastic and positive approach to tasks.

· Strong attention to detail and understanding of consequences.

· Comfortable answering calls and interacting with people.
