Manufacturing Specialist – Coffin Production

Join our team at the coffin manufacturing facility in Glasgow. As a key player in the funeral industry, we take pride in our exceptional service and the crucial role our Glasgow site plays in our operations. As a Manufacturing Specialist at our factory, you will contribute to ensuring our funeral homes receive top-quality coffins.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe and efficient movement of coffins between production stations
  • Verify order details for accuracy at each stage
  • Provide support across different factory areas as needed
  • Prepare orders for distribution, including quality checks and packaging
  • Assist with loading lorries
  • Handle coffin returns and maintain accurate records
  • Receive training on various workstations to provide flexible support
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols to mitigate risks

Requirements

  • Team player with a proactive mindset
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to various production processes
  • Ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects
  • Attention to detail and precision
  • Flexibility to work different shifts
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred but not required)
