We are hiring Shunter Drivers to join our team at Nestlé Purina in Hams Hall!

Position: Shunter Driver (Nestlé Purina)
Location: Hams Hall
Schedule: Thursday to Monday, rotating shifts (6 am-2 pm and 2 pm-10 pm), 37.5 hours per week
Start Date: January 2025
Salary: £32,175 + £2,470 shift premium

Responsibilities:

Manage trailer movements to ensure smooth workflow at Nestlé Purina site
Safely operate Terberg shunt unit for efficient trailer handling within the yard
Assist with returns, pallet park management, and other operational requirements
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct necessary checks
Complete paperwork accurately and provide excellent customer service
Perform vehicle checks before and after shifts

Qualifications and Skills:

Prior shunting experience preferred
Experience with Terberg shunt units or warehouse operations beneficial
Flexibility to work across shifts
Willingness to undergo health checks as per policy
