Overview of the Role:
Provides exceptional customer service, manages traffic flow in parking lots, and assists patrons with directions and information at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium Complex (Aud).
Key Responsibilities:
Controls the traffic entering and exiting parking lots, and ensures smooth parking operations.
Assists parking lot customers by providing directions, event information, and addressing patron needs effectively.
Maintains traffic flow, and aids customers in exiting parking lots smoothly.
Monitors the parking lot and reports any issues to the management team promptly.
Completes incident reports as necessary.
Follows instructions from the Aud Management Team and carries out assigned duties effectively.
Undertakes other relevant tasks as delegated.
Requirements:
At least partial completion of secondary school education (minimum grade 10) with 1 month of relevant experience.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Physical capability to perform outdoor duties in various weather conditions.
Capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment and follow instructions.
Aptitude for manual labor, prolonged standing and walking, and outdoor work.
Reliability, positive attitude, and a strong work history.
Please Note: Work hours may include weekdays, evenings, and weekends from September to May, up to 24 hours per week as required.
