We are looking for a talented Painter and Decorator to join our team at Audley retirement villages. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the visual appeal and functionality of our unique retirement communities in various locations. A valid driving license and access to a vehicle are essential as you will be moving between our sites in St Elphins village, Matlock, Ilkley, Edgebaston, and Leamington Spa.
We take pride in providing a luxurious and serene living environment for our village owners. As a Painter and Decorator, you will collaborate with the Facilities Manager to ensure our properties are beautifully maintained, creating a welcoming atmosphere for our residents and guests.
Your Responsibilities:
Perform painting and decorating tasks across designated retirement villages under the guidance of the Facilities Manager.
Repair and maintain surfaces inside and outside properties, including walls, floors, ceilings, doors, and windows.
Create detailed painting plans, schedules, and inspections to uphold high aesthetic standards.
Address decorative maintenance issues promptly and maintain an inventory of supplies.
Collaborate with other teams and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
Your Skills and Requirements:
Proven experience in painting, decorating, and wallpapering.
Previous work in a quality or luxury environment is advantageous.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
Knowledge of Health & Safety practices and willingness to work at various heights and locations.
