THE POSITION


In the role of Kitchen Helper, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional customer service in our military dining facilities, golf and curling establishments, and marinas.

Responsibilities include setting up dining areas for events, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining spaces, and ensuring overall kitchen organization. You will be involved in receiving, preparing, washing, and storing dishes appropriately. Additionally, tasks will involve floor cleaning, item stocking, and collaborating as part of a cohesive team to enhance the customer experience and foster a positive work environment. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


Education, Certifications, and Licenses

High school diploma AND prior experience in food service

(OR A suitable blend of education, training, and experience will be considered)

Food Handling Certification, if applicable

Experience

Dishwashing experience

General kitchen assistance experience

Skills

Customer focus, organizational acumen, effective communication, innovation, teamwork, and leadership


LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY


English Essential / French Essential / Bilingual (English and French) considered an asset

Reading: Not Required

Writing: Not Required

Oral: Functional
