Responsibilities:
Your role will involve:
Transcribing correspondences, judgments, and legal documents from handwritten notes or dictation
Composing and editing correspondence through dictation
Providing reception services, managing judges' schedules, arranging appointments and travel
Processing invoices, travel claims, maintaining expenses, and providing support on committees
Handling mail, managing filing systems, and accessing information on databases
Requirements:
Mandatory Qualifications:
Proficiency in oral and written French (for bilingual positions)
Typing speed of 50 words per minute
Dicta skills at a level of at least 70%
Essential Skills:
Strong written and oral communication skills
Interpersonal skills for handling confidential information
Technical knowledge of legal office systems and court processes
Additional Skills:
Proven experience in legal secretarial and administrative tasks
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Computer proficiency in applications like Microsoft Office and Internet usage
