Our collaboration with mutual funds showcases our innovative ability to work closely with clients to create effective solutions that safeguard their assets, people, and community. We are looking for candidates to fill the following position at the West Leederville office:

Injury Management Advisor, Workers Compensation Claims Management

What to Expect:

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the team at LGIS – a mutual indemnity scheme providing WA local governments with claims administration and risk services, including injury management.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality injury management services to staff of local government organizations across WA. You will collaboratively work with clients and their immediate and broader claims team to achieve cost-effective outcomes for the scheme, resulting in the best possible resolution and timely settlement of claims.

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Injury Management team at JLT Risk Solutions Pty Ltd. This position will be based in the West Leederville office. It is a hybrid role that requires at least three days a week in the office. You will be accountable for providing top-notch injury management services to local government staff across Western Australia, working with clients and claims teams to attain effective outcomes.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver injury management services to local government staff in WA while ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Manage all aspects of Workers Compensation claims by collaborating with all parties throughout the claim process.
  • Develop strategic injury management strategies and consistently monitor allied health treatment and workplace rehabilitation providers.
  • Offer education and mentoring services to member organizations along with regular updates on industry news and injury management practices.
  • Proactively manage project initiatives to enhance claims outcomes, conduct regular client visits, and reviews claims regularly.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Hold formal tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, or Psychology.
  • Have a minimum of 2-5 years of clinical or workplace rehabilitation experience.
  • Possess strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Hold a current WA driver's license and be willing to travel across WA to support local governments.
  • Company provides a pool vehicle for employee use, along with a laptop, mobile phone, and corporate credit card.
