The Karma Group, a renowned Global Hospitality and Lifestyle Brand, is offering fantastic opportunities to be a part of our team at Karma Salford Hall in Warwickshire, near the Cotswolds. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join us as waiters, waitresses, and bar staff for an immediate start, with flexible shifts available throughout the week.

Karma Salford Hall is a prestigious country retreat with a history spanning over 700 years, nestled in the Vale of Evesham. It boasts 32 elegant bedrooms, the Tempest restaurant, a library, games room, and bar.

Primary Responsibilities

Joining our Wait/Bar staff, your key duties will include:

  • Greeting guests warmly to ensure they feel valued and welcome
  • Providing exceptional service by being attentive, flexible, and proactive
  • Preparing service areas and maintaining their cleanliness and readiness
  • Sharing your expertise on food and beverages, making recommendations, and upselling where possible
  • Setting and clearing tables efficiently
  • Handling restaurant reservations
  • Performing cleaning tasks such as sanitizing, dusting, and washing glasses
  • Thriving in a fast-paced environment, delivering food service in a bustling restaurant or hotel
  • Addressing guest complaints with empathy and professionalism
  • Ability to multitask, handle multiple requests simultaneously, and maintain a positive demeanor
  • Ensuring guests leave with a desire to return
  • Accurate handling of cash, card charges, floats, and till procedures

The Ideal Candidate

Successful Wait/Bar staff at Karma will possess:

  • Prior experience in a high-end 4 or 5-star hotel setting or an award-winning restaurant with a genuine passion for hospitality
  • Familiarity with food and beverage service techniques, menus, and specialties
  • A commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
  • Due to the property's remote location, access to personal transport is recommended
