Estimator

Centurion Contracting, a member of the Advantage One Group along with C&C Electrical Mechanical, Royal City Fire, Novawest Electrical Services, and Coastal Food Equipment, is a rapidly growing construction services company based in Port Coquitlam. With over 14 years of experience, Centurion Contracting specializes in residential and commercial restoration subcontracting, covering divisions in carpentry, cabinetry, demolition, drywall, painting, and abatement.

We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Estimator to join our dynamic and expanding team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy in all bids.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs and review contracts.
• Apply cost factors and evaluate project schedules.
• Identify bid ambiguities and manage risks effectively.
• Coordinate quotes, subcontractors, and cost estimates.
• Submit final bids with a focus on quality and compliance.
• Participate in pre-bid and pre-construction meetings.
• Analyze project costs versus estimates for enhancements.
• Manage contract extras, change orders, and credits.

Education & Experience

- BCIT – ABT Diploma or equivalent.

- General Carpentry experience is mandatory.

- 5+ years of construction expertise is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year.
