Electrical Estimator/Specification Specialist

Role Overview: Lumenco, a leading Canadian firm specializing in cutting-edge LED lighting solutions, is actively seeking a seasoned Electrical Estimator/Specification Specialist to join their Karachi office. As a vital team member, you will be tasked with crafting project specifications, identifying product alternatives, estimating expenses, and refining bids for large-scale projects. This role primarily concentrates on commercial and industrial sectors, encompassing a diverse array of lighting fixtures, HVAC components, switches, controls, and more.

Main Responsibilities:

• Create comprehensive cost assessments encompassing materials, labor, equipment, and overheads for electrical systems.
• Suggest substitute products and strategies to enhance project specifications and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct margin and profit evaluations to present competitive bid options.
• Leverage advanced estimating software and tools to furnish precise cost forecasts.
• Collaborate closely with in-house teams and suppliers to ensure bid triumph.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical estimation or similar role.
• Thorough familiarity with electrical products, particularly lighting fixtures and systems.
• Proven history of preparing bids for substantial tenders.
• Familiarity with the latest tools and software for electrical specification tasks.
• Capability to propose cost-efficient alternatives to project specifications.

Qualifications:

• BE/Diploma (DAE) in Electrical Engineering or related field (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
• Robust analytical and mathematical acumen with keen attention to detail.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient written and verbal communication abilities.

Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift: Evening (Synchronized with Canadian time zones)

Monthly Salary: Starting from Rs100,000.00
