Driver / warehouse worker

About RecycleSmart:

Join RecycleSmart, an innovative waste management service company dedicated to transforming the waste management industry for individuals and councils. Our aim is to empower people to contribute to a cleaner environment and sustainable planet through accessible recycling services.

Your Responsibilities:

Pickups:

• Perform pickups as required, catering to both residential and business needs using your own vehicle.

Consolidation Point Coordination:

• Bale and consolidate soft plastics while monitoring stock levels.
• Develop and maintain an efficient system for safe storage of all items.

About You:

In addition to exceptional customer service skills and a flexible 'Can-Do' attitude, you should:

• Reside in or near Hobart.
• Possess a strong environmental awareness.
• Hold an unrestricted Australian driver's license.
• Have the right to work in Australia.
• Own a vehicle.
• Demonstrate confidence in driving safely through busy streets and suburban areas.
• Be open to learning from the challenges of a startup environment.
• Have the physical capability to move heavy boxes at consolidations points.

Job Types: Permanent, Subcontract

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Fixed shift
• No weekends
