Job Description


We are currently seeking a Dispatch/ Customer Service Advisor to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to handle incoming calls from customers and clients, prioritize work, and dispatch it to field operatives through our scheduling system. You will be responsible for managing workloads to meet client expectations and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to incoming calls from customers, field operatives, and clients, addressing inquiries, emergency jobs, appointment changes, and general queries.
  • Provide top-notch customer service by offering support and detailed service information to customers.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and communicate effectively with internal departments, particularly Operations.
  • Handle client requests for information, reports, and job updates promptly.
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all work areas to deliver excellent customer service and meet client deadlines and expectations.
  • Coordinate further work appointments for customers requiring follow-up services, including confirming appointments and scheduling via our system.

This role may involve additional responsibilities not outlined in this description, as directed by the Line Manager. Training will be provided for any new tasks within the scope of the role.

Employment Type: 1 Year Fixed Term Contract
Working Hours: Flexible, either 6am to 4.30pm or 7am to 5.30pm
Work Pattern: 4 on 4 off
Purpose of Position: Maternity Cover

Contract Length: 12 months
Salary: £24,800.00 per year
