Position: Direct Entry Captain King Air 200
As a vital member of the Flight Operations team, the Captain (King Air BE20) will report to the Director, Flight Operations. The role entails ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the King Air BE20 fleet at our Air Ambulance base in New Brunswick, offering you the opportunity to work on Canada's beautiful east coast!
Your Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company aircraft as the Pilot-in-Command, ensuring the safety of passengers, crew, aircraft, and cargo.
- Brief the crew on the planned aircraft operation, route, and any operational concerns.
- Supervise and assign tasks to Crew Members under your command.
- Maintain operational control parameters throughout flights.
- Achieve on-time performance and flight objectives.
- Coordinate with Voyageur’s Dispatch department, ATC, FSS, and customers.
- Ensure all necessary maps, charts, and navigation equipment are available on the aircraft.
- Review, amend, and complete operational paperwork, Operational Flight Plans, and manuals as required.
- Conduct safety briefings and simulated emergency scenarios.
- Ensure the safety and security of crew, aircraft, and cargo.
- Proactively utilize Voyageur’s Safety and Risk Management system.
- Adhere to company policies, air regulations, and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain qualifications necessary for King Air BE20 aircraft crewing.
Your Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Canadian ATPL.
- Have a minimum of 2,000 hours total flight time.
- Possess a minimum of 500 hours of Multi-Engine Pilot-in-Command time.
- Have at least 200 hours of King Air series (100, 200, 300/350) aircraft experience.
- BE20 or BE30 Type Rating is an advantage.
- MEDEVAC/Air Ambulance experience is considered beneficial.
- Can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate problem-solving abilities and solution identification skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willing to relocate to New Brunswick.
- Hold a valid passport for unrestricted international travel.
Previous experience as a Pilot, BE20, King Air, Aviation, First Officer, Airline, or in Medevac is required.
Eligibility Requirements:
Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada, provide a clear Criminal Background Check, and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Must be open to commuting or relocating to New Brunswick.
