Support Staff Full-time Appendix D Contract Replacement Position (July 2024 – October 2024)

Within the department of Co-op, Career & Work-Integrated Learning and reporting to the Career Centre Managers, the incumbent will handle data management and financial records. They will employ quality assurance practices to ensure Conestoga meets audit requirements and government program guidelines.

The ideal candidate must be able to work in Ontario and on campus. The position will follow a hybrid work model with 3 days on-site (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) and 2 days remote (Monday-Tuesday) from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities:

Financial System Development, Planning, Analysis, and Verification

  • Establish financial systems for program and administrative budgets
  • Maintain records of financial incentives and supports
  • Prepare and process documentation for manager approval
  • Handle inquiries regarding financial payments
  • Ensure payroll documentation is complete and accurate
  • Rectify errors in financial incentives
  • Post weekly reports for fund disbursement

Record Management Implementation

  • Develop and implement policies for proper documentation

TOWES Project Management

  • Manage contracts for TOWES invigilation

Technical Support

  • Provide technical guidance to program staff
  • Address staff inquiries regarding data collection


Qualifications:

  • Two-year diploma in relevant field required
  • Three years of experience in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong human relations skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
