About Us
City of Coquitlam is seeking two dynamic and customer-focused individuals for the position of Clerk - Permits and Licenses in the Building Permits division of the Planning and Development department. In this role, you will be responsible for processing applications and permits, liaising with the public, maintaining records, and handling administrative tasks with precision and efficiency.
Key Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, previous experience in a similar role, and a background in Planning & Development. A high school diploma is required.
Desirable Skills
Additional qualifications such as office administration or commercial coursework would be advantageous. Knowledge of building permits, licensing, and construction processes is a plus.
Working Hours
The work hours for this role are flexible, spanning from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm based on operational requirements.
Compensation and Benefits
This role offers an hourly pay range of $29.48 - $34.63 (2024 rates) with 6% in lieu of benefits. The final compensation will be determined by factors like qualifications and experience.
