CHIEF MEMBERSHIP OFFICER

Join the dynamic team at Greater Vancouver REALTORS (GVR) as we redefine real estate services with our innovative approach. As the Chief Membership Officer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing member services and elevating professionalism within the industry. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will spearhead strategies to optimize MLS, Member Services, and Professional Standards, collaborating closely with the senior leadership team.

We are seeking a visionary leader with over 5 years of experience in senior management, dedicated to driving organizational excellence and service enhancements. Your ability to cultivate strong relationships, mentor team members, and champion change initiatives will be instrumental in raising the bar for REALTOR membership standards. Prior experience in organized real estate is a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities:

MLS

  • Enhance the Multi Listing Service database and Commercial Edge tools through continuous assessment and feedback mechanisms.
  • Oversee vendor agreements associated with MLS/Commercial Edge to ensure service delivery aligns with expectations.
  • Provide strategic leadership to the MLS management team and staff to ensure operational effectiveness.

MEMBER RELATIONS

  • Implement engagement strategies to enhance member satisfaction and participation.
  • Collaborate with brokerages, conduct focus groups, and review customer feedback to tailor services to member needs.
  • Develop the skills and service quality within the Member Relations department.
  • Conduct member presentations to promote benefits of GVR membership and address escalated issues.

PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS

  • Work closely with Professional Development to implement recommendations for professional excellence.
  • Lead changes in ethical standards, rules, and regulations to ensure adherence to industry best practices.
  • Develop communication strategies for new products, services, and regulations while overseeing enforcement processes.

STRATEGY AND PROCESS REVIEW

  • Participate in strategy sessions and develop implementation plans for strategic priorities.
  • Conduct research to identify opportunities and threats, and review existing processes to enhance service quality.
