Job Description: Join our team as a Recreation and Event Coordinator in the Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services Department where you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating a variety of diverse and inclusive sport, culture, and recreation activities. Your role will include setting up facilities, equipment, and supervising scheduled bookings, programs, and special events. This position may require flexibility in working hours, including weekends, to meet operational needs.
Requirements: Candidates must have Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid & CPR Level 'C' or St. John Ambulance Standard First Aid & CPR Level 'C'. Additionally, candidates should be self-starters able to work independently, possess strong organizational skills, and have proven customer service abilities. Preference will be given to candidates with post-secondary education in Kinesiology, Education, or a related field.
Pay Range: Starting at $15.93 per hour with potential to earn up to $22.84 per hour based on assigned tasks.
