Candle & Gift Production Assistant

Candle Makery is a leader in custom candle design and supply, housing two specialized candle brands dedicated to all types of gifting occasions. Our team of dedicated individuals meticulously create and deliver products for the following brands:

Kindred Fires - Offering premium personalized candles.
Mischief Candles - Providing a range of playful and sassy candles.

In addition, we have a sister brand named Loom Weddings, focused on crafting exquisite wedding stationery.

Join our vibrant creative environment where we design, pour, and package orders for all brands in-house. Our commitment to sustainability and quality ensures a meaningful experience for customers, coupled with efficient service and fast order fulfillment.

We are seeking hardworking and talented individuals to join our production team, specifically focusing on our candle brands. In this dynamic role, you will be involved in all aspects of the order process, from personalizing artwork and using machinery to hand-crafting and packaging products, as well as assisting the Customer Experience Team with inquiries.

Responsibilities include:

· Independently managing workloads to meet shift requirements.

· Upholding efficiency and quality standards throughout the workday.

· Adhering to packaging guidelines and meticulously finishing orders by hand.

· Hand pouring and assisting in candle making.

· Maintaining workshop cleanliness and safety standards.

· Personalizing artwork on each order.

· Supporting the Customer Experience Team with inquiries and delivering exceptional service.

· Ensuring workshop cleanliness and safety at all times.

Preferred qualifications:

· Experience in crafting or design work.

· Passion for customer service and interacting with clients.

· Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.

· Enjoyment of hands-on work with a focus on quality.

· Strong communication skills and a positive demeanor.

· Motivated to work efficiently under tight deadlines with precision.

· Initiative-driven self-starter with a team player mindset.

· Thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain composed under pressure.

· Keen attention to detail and design.

· Experience in high-paced settings like the hospitality industry.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 1 month

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 21 per week
