Location: Hybrid (Remote + Onsite 2 days a week - Downtown Ottawa)

Security Clearance Level: Reliability Clearance from GoC

We are looking for a talented Business Analyst (BA) to join our team on a long-term contract basis. As a Business Analyst with a focus on Workplace and Technology, you will be instrumental in analyzing and enhancing our clients' workplace processes. Your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders to identify requirements, devise solutions, and implement technology-driven strategies to boost efficiency and drive business growth.

• Utilize analytical skills and specialized knowledge to craft innovative solutions that optimize business applications and services.
• Employ creative and critical thinking to gather clients' functional and non-functional requirements using various elicitation techniques.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and end-users to grasp business needs.
• Utilize various data and process modeling techniques to outline business information requirements.
• Deliver clear and comprehensive documentation to support project sign-off and assist technical team members in solution delivery.
• Lead well-structured presentations and facilitate sessions to review requirements and reach consensus.
• Coordinate project deliverables by assessing the best approach for requirements gathering and validation.
• Identify and resolve issues stemming from changing requirements.
• Manage requirements while remaining adaptable to project shifts and deadlines.

• Prior experience in IT projects and collaborative team settings.
• Sound understanding of business analytics development methodologies and technologies.
• Experience in documenting business analytics and BI reporting requirements.
• Strong investigative and analytical abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in communication with both business and technical audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst, ideally focusing on workplace and technology.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and software.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
