Job Description: As a Multilingual Facilities Coordinator, your core responsibility will revolve around coordinating and executing work orders essential for the upkeep of commercial properties under the Mirabelli Corporation umbrella. Your role is pivotal in ensuring timely and budget-friendly project completions.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of work order management.
  • Coordinate facilities repairs involving various trades such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, flooring, painting, and doors.
  • Liaise with vendors and subcontractors to ensure prompt completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols of Mirabelli and its clients diligently.
  • Analyze the market to secure the best value from both current and potential vendors.
  • Contribute to the formulation of long-term maintenance and repair strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and local regulations.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with building tenants to guarantee exceptional customer service.
  • Regularly update management on progress and procedures.
  • Monitor expenditure within the maintenance budget.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of supplier invoices.
  • Handle emergencies promptly and compassionately.
  • Thoroughly document all processes utilizing facility management software.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably a University or College Degree.
  • Assets include coursework in Facilities Management.
  • Proficiency in Facilities Management (FM) software.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Facilities Coordinator role.
  • Fluency in French is essential.
  • Experience in coordinating various subtrades such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, flooring, painting, doors, and framing.
  • Outstanding teamwork skills coupled with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Thorough knowledge of building codes and local regulations.
  • Capacity to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently.
  • Strong organizational and communication proficiencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze daily work demands and prioritize tasks effectively.
