Job Title: Clinic Administrative Assistant
Location: Charlton Campus, Hamilton Downtown
Department: 2 Fontbonne Clinic
Employment Type: Regular, Part Time

Schedule

Work Days: Monday to Friday
Shift: 7.5 hours/day starting at 8:30 (subject to change)
This position may require work at various clinic sites.

Job Description

Role Summary
The Clinic Administrative Assistant at 2 Fontbonne Clinic plays a crucial role in providing administrative support to ensure smooth clinic operations. This includes medical transcription, surgical booking, patient registration, and other clerical tasks supporting patient care across different medical specialties.

Requirements:
  • 2-year post-secondary diploma in Office Administration - Health Services
  • Medical terminology certificate
  • Minimum 3 years experience in hospital administrative support
  • Proficiency in hospital software programs like Dovetale and Accuro
  • Experience in medical transcription and voice recognition software
  • Competency in surgical booking procedures
  • Advanced typing speed and accuracy
  • Intermediate skills in MS Excel and MS Word
  • Knowledge of medical terminologies related to women's health and pediatrics
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Good attendance and work performance record
  • Must submit a current resume with the application

Compensation:
Hourly Range: $28.03 - $30.46 (plus 14% in lieu)
