Academic Counselor (CSS )

Job Description

KIPS CSS | PMS is currently seeking a dedicated Academic/English counselor (CSS) for a part-time position. The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and undertake the responsibilities outlined below:

• Must have knowledge of CSS or have attempted the exam
• Proficient in English language to assist students
• Review assignments and provide timely feedback to students
• Monitor candidates' performance and devise personalized strategies to enhance their subject knowledge
• Offer guidance, mentorship, and resource assistance to students
• Assign homework and exercises based on individual weaknesses
• Conduct occasional foundational classes
• Maintain a supportive and professional relationship with students, addressing their concerns
• Help students improve their writing skills
• Assist students in becoming adept at reading newspapers
• Prepare students to excel in key CSS areas
• Provide input for enhancing academic support services at KIPS
• Report to the head of Academic Counselor for quality assurance
• Come fully prepared to provide comprehensive support to students at KIPS

Education: MPhil / Masters Degree in English literature/linguistics
Experience: Previous attempt at CSS Exam, Strong command over English
Working hours: 5 hours
Timing: 4:15 pm - 9:15 pm (Monday - Friday | Every other Saturday)
Location: Islamabad

Job Type: Part-time
Salary: Rs35,000.00 per month
